OBJECT OF THE GAME
Thirteen is a four player card game with the goal of playing all of your cards before the other players. A player gets rid of their cards by playing them in hands.
RULES OF THE GAME
When it is Your Lead
You can play any hand type
When it is not Your Lead
You can only play a hand that is the same type as the last hand played
The hand must end in a higher card than the last hand played
2s are the highest cards in the game, then an Ace and then the normal sequence of playing cards down to a three.
HAND TYPES
Single (1 card)
Double (2 cards of the same value)
Triple (3 cards of the same value)
Straight (3 or more cards in a row)
Suit (a Straight that is all the same suit)
Chop (a Straight of Doubles)
Bomb (4 cards of the same value)
EXCEPTIONS TO THE RULES
A Straight can only beat another Straight if they are the same length
A Bomb can beat any hand except for a Bomb of higher value
A Chop can beat a Single 2
A Suit can be played as a Straight to beat a Straight. A Suit played this way is considered a normal Straight and can be beaten by a non-suited Straight.
HOW TO PLAY
To move cards between your Hand and Staging Hand
Tap a card
Release while a card is selected
Swipe DOWN from your Staging Hand to remove all the cards from your Staging Hand
To play your Staging Hand
Tap the Played Cards Pile
Swipe UP from your Staging Hand
To play cards without the Staging Hand
Swipe UP from a card in your Hand to play the card as a Single
Swipe LEFT or RIGHT on your Hand to play the rest of your cards (if you can)
CONFIGURABLE RULES
Can players Play after passing (YES or NO)
Who plays first (WINNER or LOWEST CARD)
When does suit matter (ALWAYS, NEVER, UNDER 10, UNDER JACK)
Are 2s allowed in Straights (YES or NO)
Are Chops allowed (NO, CHOPS BEAT SINGLE 2s, LONGER CHOPS BEAT MULTIPLE 2s)
Does a player who is dealt all 2s automatically win (YES or NO)
What is the order of the suits (Press and drag to order from lowest to highest)
CONFIGURABLE OPTIONS
Opponent's AI Difficulty (EASY, NORMAL, HARD or BRUTAL)
Use the Helper (ON or OFF, makes only cards that the player can currently play selectable)
AutoPass (NEVER, Whenever the user can't play or Whenever the user can't play and already passed)
AIs finish hand speed (NORMALLY or QUICKLY, determines how fast the game is played after the user is out of cards)
Delay the re-sorting of the user's hand (ON or OFF, determines when the user's hand is re-sorted after cards are moved to the staging hand)
Clear the Score Board (During your turn, press on the Score Board and hold for 2 seconds)
Choose which deck of cards to play with (ORIGINAL, CLASSIC RED, CLASSIC BLUE)
